An excellent game at Rugby saw the United defeated for only the second time this season but they can certainly hold their heads high after an excellent performance. Rugby Lions are unbeaten at any level this season and lead National 3 Midlands.
Cinderford United fought back from 22-10 down with fifteen minutes to go with two converted tries ensuring a deserved but narrow victory. Bedwas were the best team the United have faced this season so far and the increase in playing standard was noticeable from the start.
The United just edged out a Drybrook side determined to get something out of a disappointing season, and it took a late penalty to deny their opponents in closely fought encounter at Regentsholme. The first-half was a very tight affair with Billy Blair and Tom Treherne exchanging penalties to make it 3-3 at the interval.
