Cinderford Match Report

The joint sides played a round robin Fixture on Sunday against Widden and Berry Hill sides

Drybrook/Cinderford 33 Widden 0

The first game saw the Forest boys play the best rugby so far this season the forward and backs were simply awesome with everything from the training ground working well , Harry Johnson ran in 2 scores with some great running ,Captain for the day Zac Miles scored following a lineout catch from his second row partner Tom Leadbeater . Next to score was Aaron Love who enjoyed a great game at number 8 , The front row of Hughes , Kemp ,and Morgan were scummaging well allowing scrum half Andrew Hoult to play well . The good play continued in the second half with AJ Jenkins superb under the high ball and making some great breaks also scoring a fine try . Fly half Matt Wilce was directing the backs well and Guy Pearson was running hard on the wing , Hooker Nathan Morgan had his kicking boots on converting 4 trys

Drybrook/Cinderford 14 Berry Hill 14

In the second game the Drybrook alliance got stuck into a hard fought forward battle with a good Berry Hill side , Following a storming Leadebeater run the Drybrook boys were held up short , but good pressure saw Leadbeater regain the ball to plunge over , Berry Hill made good ground and only a fine Tackle by Charlie Newchap Alexander kept them out .... Zac Miles stole a Berry Hill Line out and from the ruck Charlie Davis who had ran hard all morning streaked over to score ,With Nathan Morgan again converting both try's , and the game finally balanced the whistle went with a draw a fine result for great Forest Derby.
