Drybrook vs Cinderford - Under 7s and Under 8s

On Sunday 11 November 07, twenty three Cinderford under seven and eight players went to Drybrook and played two games at each age group.

Drybrook U7s 10 Cinderford U7s 10

The first game, played by the under sevens, was a tight affair with both sides defending well. The match was relatively low scoring ending up in a draw, two tries apiece. Scorers for Cinderford were Harry Taylor and Lucas Gardner.

The second under sevens game was a little more open with both teams trying to use open spaces. Cinderfords defence was stronger which ultimately determined the win by three tries to one. Edwin Mathieson, Josh Haddock and Cory Anderson scored a try each for Cinderford.

Drybrook U8s 20 Cinderford U8s 15

The under eights first game was also a defensive game both sides tackling well. The final score was four tries to three in Drybrooks favour. Cinderford contributed to their own demise by running off the field of play on several occasions! Jake Anderson, Brandon Freeman and Jack Worgan were Cinderfords scorers.

The second game played by the under eights was end to end, all out attack from both sides being the order of the day. The match was drawn five tries apiece. Cinderfords scorers were Brandon Freeman (2), Adey Tate, Jake Anderson and Oscar Pratten.

Man of the match awards were given to Edwin Mathieson and Lucas Gardner, with Cory Anderson and Justin Price most improved.
