Cinderford vs Keynsham
A squad of 17 Cinderford players met at rainy Dockham Road on Sunday 28 October for a match against travelling Keynsham. Two games were played, one at Under 7s and one at Under 8s level.Cinderford 25 vs Keynsham 20 (Under 7s)
The Under 7s game was played first with Cinderford coming out on top by five tries to four. Harry Jones was on top form scoring a hat trick of tries and the first three Cinderford tries in the match. Later on in the game Harry Taylor making his Cinderford debut scored with a fine run to the corner. Lewis Mason scored on the referees final whistle to give Cinderford the win.Cinderford 35 vs Keynsham 40 (Under 8s)
The Under 8s game was a high scoring affair with Keynsham winning by eight tries to seven. For Cinderford, both Brandon Freeman and Adey Tait scored two tries each with one each for Hannah Reeks, Josh Haddock and Jake Anderson who made his Cinderford debut.For excellent tackling this week, man of the match awards were given to Hannah Reeks, Jake Anderson, with most improved awards to Adey Tate and Maddie Worgan.
