Cinderford vs Widden Old Boys
A squad of 15 Cinderford players met at Dockham Road on Sunday 21 October for their third fixture of the season. Two games were played, with Cinderford coming out on top in both.Cinderford 25 vs Widden Old Boys 5
In the first game, Widden scored first with Cinderford missing important tackles. However, Cinderford rallied and scored five tries through Jack Worgan, Adey Tate, Brandon Freeman (2) and Maddie Worgan.
In the second half, Cinderford made changes and fielded their complete subs bench. Mary Roberts scored first for Cinderford, but Widden hit back with four good tries. Cinderford scored two more through Zac Williams and Lucas Gardner. Cinderford ran out winners eight tries to five.

The second game was as keenly contested and as open as the first match, Cinderford winning again by eight tries to five. Scorers were Cameron Catleugh (2), Adey Tait, Harry Jones, Shannon Catleugh, Mary Robert, Zac Williams and Jack Worgan.
Man of the match for the under 8s was Mary Roberts, with Josh Wynn most improved and for the under 7s Harry Jones was man of the match with Lewis Mason most improved.
