Cinderford United maintained their unbeaten run with a 27-3 win over Cleeve in the Merit Table.Darren Gaze was driven over from a 5m line-out for the opening try, then Mark Barrington scored in the corner after good work from Lloyd Stapleton and Pete Towers. Both conversions were missed.

Another surge from a 5m line-out produced the third try for club captain Isaiah Young.

The game went into a lull until Gaze stole a ball in Cinderford's 22 and galloped away.

Young was up in support and the ball was recycled through the hands to produce a try for substitute winger Lex Brookes.

Dan Gordon then sped through the middle of the field for Cinderford's fifth try.

Gaze, Young and centre Gordon were the pick of a strong Cinderford team.
