Just before half time, the Stags were awarded a penalty try for a Berry Hill five metre scrum infringement. Luke Beard converted from in front of the posts. Half time score 17 points to nil.

The second half began with a rally from Berry Hill, but the Stags fought back to force a penalty from Berry Hill which Beard converted.

After fifty minutes, back row forward Andy Boxall broke from midfield and the resulting ruck brought another penalty to the Stags, Beard converting again.

In the last ten minutes two tries were scored one by Stags substitute Ian Taylor from close quarters and a consolation try for Berry Hill, which was converted. Final score 28 points to seven in Cinderford Stags favour.
