Cinderford Stags played away at Coney Hill and came away 15 points to nil winners.

The first half was a tight affair, though Coney Hill didnt manage to get into the Stags half until the 30 minute mark. Although there was no score in the first 40 minutes, the game was exciting with dogged defence from Coney Hill being the order of the day. The Stags virtually spent the first half hour in the Coney Hill half but couldnt convert pressure into points. The last ten minutes of the half was the reverse of the first thirty, with Coney Hill pressurising, but the Stags defence remaining solid.

At half time the Stags took stock and regrouped. Again pressuring Coney Hill for long periods, the Stags managed to breach the Coney Hill line on three occasions. Twice the ball was moved left following good drives from the Stags pack and outside half Luke Beard and centre Mike Jelf benefited scoring try apiece. Late on, captain and number eight Jonny Jelf scored a third to make the final score 15 points to nil.
