CINDERFORD RFC 1st TEAM CAPTAIN ANNOUNCED
Director of Rugby Paul Morris has the pleasure of introducing Cinderford RFC 1st XV Captain Tyler Jerrum for the 2023/24 season.
Paul said that “Tyler is a perfect choice as captain for this coming season. He is an uncompromising player with a great attitude and work ethic on and off the pitch. He has a will to win and will make a great leader. I look forward to working closely with him to mould a winning squad”
Paul continued “Tyler is 26 so a great age that can blend youth with experience. He has played 60 times in a CRFC 1st team shirt. He made his debut away at Sale FC having joined CRFC in the summer of 2019.
“To cap it all Tyler was awarded the Players Player accolade at the recent Awards dinner so is well respected by the playing squad.”
Tyler responded “I am Honoured to be captain for a great club and looking forward to a new challenge. I am excited to get started and I know that we can have a great season. The 2023/24 fixtures have been published and we are excited with the early games in pre-season which will allow us to establish our playing style and mould ourselves into a playing unit. Both Llandovery and Pontypridd are tough opponents but the learning will be invaluable to allow us to structure ourselves for the league games to follow. ”
