Cinderford girls played their first game at under 15s on Sunday against Winscombe rfc. Winscombe provided stiff opposition, with a team consisting of 8 South West county player’s.
This was always going to be a hard task with 5 of the Cinderford squad playing their first ever rugby match, but they all played well and stuck at it, watched by a large crowd of supporters on a great day weather-wise.
Unfortunately Winscombe proved to be too strong for the home team and won the game, but a lot of positives came out of it, and the girls look forward to the next game at Cardiff Quins
