Derby day — Cinderford U10s v Drybrook U10s!
What an absolutely cracking morning of rugby! Both sides got properly stuck in, and the muddy kits certainly told the story!
Our first post of the season, and there’s so much to be proud of. The team have been finding their feet with rucking, mauling and three-player scrums, and we’re now really seeing their hard work in training coming together on the pitch.
Today brought brilliant teamwork and communication, some fantastic rucking, strong attacking runs and determined defending. It was especially lovely to see the ball moving around and the players working together.
Some of our proudest moments today were seeing how the players looked after each other, the pats on the back, checking on teammates and running over to support someone who had come off, encouraging them back onto the pitch. That’s what being part of a team is all about.
On Remembrance Sunday, both teams also came together for a two-minute silence. We were really proud of the respect shown by all our young players as we remembered those who served and sacrificed.
Players of the Match: Max and Charley! Very well deserved, both!
Thank you to Drybrook for a brilliant derby morning and to everyone cheering from the sidelines. As coaches, we couldn’t be prouder of this whole team.
Lest we forget. 🌺
