Cinderford U15s 45 – 17 Frampton Cotterell U15s
A highly anticipated top-of-the-table clash lived up to its billing as Cinderford U15s produced an outstanding performance to secure a convincing 45–17 victory over Frampton Cotterell in front of a large crowd.
From the opening whistle the home side set the tone with intensity and purpose, delivering what was arguably their best half of the season. Cinderford’s aggressive defence and clinical finishing quickly put the visitors under pressure.
The breakthrough came when Owen Morgan crossed out wide for the opening try, expertly converted by Tyler C to give Cinderford an early 7–0 lead.
Momentum continued to build for the hosts as Olli Evans and Billy Taylor both added tries, stretching the advantage to 19–0. With confidence growing, Tyler C then crossed twice in quick succession to further extend the lead to 33–0, capping a dominant first-half display.
To their credit, Frampton Cotterell responded strongly after the break and enjoyed their best spell of the match during the second half, managing to outscore the hosts during that period.
Cinderford continued to show their attacking threat however, with Kai James touching down before Tyler C completed his hat-trick to round off another excellent individual performance.
In the end it was a well-deserved win for Cinderford, built on a ferocious defensive effort that laid the platform for some impressive attacking rugby.
