Cinderford girls travelled to Dings on Sunday with the under 15’s playing in a round robin between Dings and Weston Hornet’s. And with the weather and wind produced by storm Freya. Cinderford girls had their own storm maker in the form of Poppy Godwin whose strong runs were the making of three fine individual try’s in the games. Another great performance by the whole team resulting in the first game verses Dings won 5-0 try by Poppy Godwin.
Second game against Hornet’s was drawn 0-0
Third game against Dings won 19-5 Poppy Godwin, Amelia Clarke and Chloe Ervig a try each with Ervig converting two.
Fourth game won 5-0 try Poppy Godwin.
The under 13’s also weathered the storm against larger opposition drawing their game against a Dings Hornets mix drawing the game 20-20 try’s coming through Lexi Bishop, Taylor Turley and captain Francesca Clarke a great effort by all.
