Cinderford Stags faced off against Gordon League 2’s, and it was Cinderford who emerged triumphant with a commanding scoreline of 40-7.

Cinderford’s first try of the day showcased some brilliant teamwork, with Jay Watkins executing a perfectly timed chip behind the opposition’s defence. The ball was gathered by Keyan Littleton, who executed a fantastic offload to Reuben Hinds, positioned perfectly in close support. Hinds made his way under the posts, and Jay Watkins added the extra points with a successful conversion.  The scoring continued for Cinderford as Liam Littleton found his way to the try line, although the conversion attempt was unfortunately missed. However, Gordon League managed to claw their way back into the game just before half-time, scoring a crucial try to make it 12-7 in favour of Cinderford as they headed into the break.

The second half was a dominant display by Cinderford as they asserted their authority on the game. Liam Littleton, Keyan Littleton, Reuben Hinds, and Billy Roberts all crossed the try line, showcasing their prowess in both attack and defence. What’s more, Jay Watkins was in impeccable form with his kicking, converting all of these tries with precision.
The final whistle blew, and Cinderford Stags emerged as the deserving victors with a comprehensive win.
