Cinderford fell to a 35-10 defeat against Luctonians at The Bell Sports and Rugby Park in front of 350 spectators, with indiscipline and missed opportunities proving costly against a clinical visiting side.
The home team started positively, Nathan Taylor powering over the line after some shaky defending from Luctonians. Sonny Greenman added the conversion to give Cinderford an early 7-0 lead.
The visitors hit back before half-time with two penalties from fly-half Tom Jones, leaving the score 7-6 at the break.
