Cinderford welcomed Hucclecote this week. Hucclecote kicked to start a cracking game of rugby, both teams battled it out for over 10 minutes without scoring but it was Cinderford who scored 1st with a powerful run from winger Will Ruck. This gave Cinderford the half time advantage.
Cinderford started the 2nd half well, Will Ruck burst down the wing but got tackled 5 metres from the line, Cinderford secured the ruck and Prop Ollie Cook finished the move off crashing over the try line. The next try came from another forward Morgan Embling who used his strength to punch a hole in the defence to score. Now the backs started to play some lovely rugby with returning Zac Littlefair at 10 who has been out for 8 weeks setting up Matthew Jones who burst through his opposite wrong footed centre to score.
Hucclecote attacked and managed to score down the blind but Cinderford went straight back at them to add another try from some lovely backs movement and a 2nd try for Matthew jones. Hucclecote managed to score again before the end to make the final score 25 – 10 and a win for Cinderford.
