The United scored eight tries as they overcame stubborn opponents Cleve and some tricky playing conditions at the Bridge ground in a C1WN match.  Stan Norman twice, George Gladding, Sam Allford, James Kear, Tom Samak, Wolfgang Cross and Sam Baker went over, with Joe Langbridge kicking seven conversions.

In challenging weather conditions, Cinderford Stags faced a tough battle against Ledbury in a scrappy rugby match.   Ledbury took an early lead with a try, capitalizing on Cinderford penalties, making it 5-0.  Cinderford responded strongly, with vice-captain David Didcote scoring from a driving maul, converted by Tom Ward, bringing the score to 7-5 in favour of Cinderford.  Ledbury struck back after a Cinderford line-out error, scoring a try and converting it, leading 12-7. Just before halftime, Cinderford’s Tom Ward’s strategic kick allowed Lewis Mason to score, leveling the score at 12-12.

The second half saw both teams battling fiercely. Ledbury regained the lead with a try, making it 17-12, but Cinderford fought back with Brett Turner’s penalties, narrowing the gap to 17-18.  Ledbury responded with a try from a cross-field kick, making it 22-18. In the dying moments, Cinderford’s Lewis Mason scored his second try, converted by Brett Turner, securing the victory with a final score of 25-22.  Despite the challenging conditions, the Stags showed determination and resilience, ultimately clinching the win in a hard-fought match.
