Cinderford United 36-14 Longlevens
Huge congratulations to Cinderford United who produced a superb performance to overcome Longlevens and claim the Counties 1 Tribute Western North title with three matches still remaining.
Joe Mullis, on his return from from injury, was in great form scoring two of their tries. Will Baldwin, Will Anderson and Joe Langbridge also scored tries, with Langbridge kicking four conversions and a penalty.
It is however with great disappointment that we have to report that as a 2nd XV, under the current RFU playing regulations the team is unable to gain promotion to Regional 2 Severn, something that is surley at odds with the true spirit of the game.
