Cinderford United secured a thrilling 55-28 victory over Dursley in a highly entertaining Counties 2 (Glos.) clash, with both sides serving up end-to-end action and plenty of try-scoring drama.

Home full-back Brendan Llewellyn stole the show with a sensational hat-trick of tries, while Neil Churchill, Sam Baker, Louis Vale, JJ Horrobin, Reilly Scriven, and Tom Reynolds also crossed the line. Harley Thorpe added five conversions to complete the scoring.

Manager Paul Morris reflected on the win:
“Really pleased to get a 5-point win at home with a much-changed side from the previous week. Our players had the right attitude and their skill set produced some great rugby. Other sides in our league are now trying to catch us, so we need to be on our game for every match until the end of the season. We have players ‘oven ready’ for the firsts this Saturday if needed! I’d also like to pay tribute to Dursley — they made it an entertaining game and played with a lot of heart, endeavour, and skill. They totally deserved their bonus point, although I’m a bit annoyed we conceded four tries!”

It was a fantastic afternoon of rugby at Bell Sports & Rugby Park, showcasing the talent, determination, and spirit of Cinderford United.
