Cinderford rugby club have been very pleased with the standard of candidates who have applied for the role of head coach.

Interviews have been taking place this week at the club, with an interview panel headed up by Chairman of rugby, Mike Panoho, Don Parsons and newly appointed professional rugby manager Andrew Deacon. Mike Panoho said ” we are very pleased with the calibre of candidate for this very important role. Our head coach will be driving the club forward and be responsible for our coaching team, performance and selection moving forward.”

Chairman Mark Gayther said “I have every confidence we will find the right team of coaches to take the club forward in National One. The standard of rugby improves year on year and we need a strong team to keep pace with the competition, and enhance the talented players we have.”

The club will announce the newly appointed head coach and support team at the end of next week.
