Director of rugby, Andy Deacon, is in full swing putting together his squad for 2013/14. First port of call is to hold player appraisals and contract renewal discussions with the existing squad members. As a result of this first wave of meetings, Deacs is pleased to confirm that Jack Adams has signed for his second season at the Foresters.

“I am pleased to announce that Jack has secured another contract with us and like many other familiar faces we expect a healthy contingency of current players to re-new their contracts. This provides a stability within the side that gives us continuity and a platform to start pre-season where we left off and start our new season campaign from a position of strength,” he said.

Jack is joined by other players who featured regularly in the team’s national 1 fixtures this year, and in no particular order (!) the club is thrilled to re-sign Mark Davies, Nev Codlin, Mike Wilcox, Tom Bozzard, Joe Smart, Kai Done, Nick Selway and George Evans.

“I have player meetings most evenings and still have a significant number of guys to hook up with, so I will provide a further squad update in the weeks to come, as well as news on the new coaching structure.”

More news on Cinderford player contract renewals and the pre-season friendly fixtures to be announced imminently.
